There are times when children require care and support above and beyond the high standard of welfare provided by the school. Therefore we created a TLC List which you can view here. Children are identified as needing incresed supervision or monitoring either by their parent or by a member of staff. All concerns, however small they may seem, are taken seriously and when children are in the RED category, we ensure regular consulation with the parent is put in place.

Following every lunchtime session, the SMSA/Playworker staff meet together to discuss the children on the TLC list and ensure that, where agreed, daily reports are written for identified children. The SMSA/Playworker staff keep class teachers and the Head teacher informed of all relevant isues, as and when, they occur.

 

Copies of the daily or weekly monitoring forms are kept on file but can also be sent home if the parent prefers.
